Fire Protection
Services
Fire incidents remain one of the most serious threats to life, property, and business continuity. A single failure in fire protection equipment or system design can lead to catastrophic consequences—loss of assets, operational shutdowns, injuries, fatalities, and regulatory penalties.
BGMC provides independent, third-party Fire Protection Inspection Services to ensure that fire safety equipment, systems, and installations function reliably when needed. Our inspections follow ISO/IEC 17020, NFPA standards, international best practices, and local civil defense regulatory requirements.
Our goal is to help organizations maintain safe environments and ensure their fire protection systems perform effectively during emergencies.

Why Fire Protection Inspection Is Essential
Fire safety systems deteriorate due to:
Lack of maintenance
Corrosion, blockage, or leakage
Electrical failures
Wear and tear
System malfunctions
Environmental factors
Inadequate installation practices
Unnoticed component failures
Our Inspection Services
Scope of BGMC Fire Protection Inspection Services
The scope of BGMC’s Fire Protection Inspection Services includes evaluating fire detection, suppression, and emergency response systems to ensure they meet safety standards, function reliably, and provide effective protection against fire hazards in industrial and commercial environments.
Fire Detection & Alarm System Inspection
Our inspections verify the proper functioning and placement of smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, fire alarm control panels, and notification devices such as sirens and strobes. We also assess detector spacing, installation compliance, and battery backup or power supply reliability. These checks ensure timely fire detection and overall system responsiveness.
Fire Suppression System Inspection
We inspect water-based systems—sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, standpipes, pumps, deluge systems, and tanks—checking flow, pressure, valve performance, and NFPA 25 compliance. For gas-based systems like FM-200, CO₂, inert gases, and clean agents, we verify cylinder pressure, piping, nozzles, and detection logic. Foam systems, including proportioning units and tank protection systems, are also assessed to ensure readiness for high-hazard environments.
Portable Fire Extinguisher Inspection
We inspect COâ‚‚, dry chemical, foam, and water extinguishers by checking pressure levels, hose and nozzle condition, overall functionality, and verifying weight and gauge readings. Tagging and service records are updated to ensure these first-line fire protection devices are always ready for use.
Emergency Lighting & Exit Sign Inspection
We inspect exit signage, emergency lights, backup batteries, escape route illumination, and overall system placement to ensure clear visibility and safe evacuation pathways during emergencies.
Fire Door & Compartmentation Inspection
We inspect fire-rated doors, door closers, seals, intumescent strips, fire-stopping integrity, and penetrations in walls or ceilings to verify that compartment barriers are intact. These checks help prevent the spread of fire and smoke throughout a facility.
Fire Pump Testing
We verify fire pump performance by checking flow and pressure, testing main and standby pump operation, confirming automatic and manual control functions, assessing diesel engine condition, and reviewing controller and jockey pump response. All evaluations are aligned with NFPA 20 requirements.

How It Works
Case 1: Fire System Compliance Audit
A manufacturing plant needed a full fire safety review. BGMC inspected alarms, sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, and emergency lighting, helping the facility achieve compliance with NFPA and local codes.
Case 2: Fire Pump & Suppression System Check
A commercial complex required verification of its fire pumps and water-based systems. BGMC assessed pump performance, flow, pressure, valves, and tank readiness, ensuring NFPA 20/25 compliance.
Case 3: Gas Suppression System Inspection
A data center requested evaluation of its FM-200 and inert gas systems. BGMC checked cylinder pressure, nozzles, detection logic, and interlocks, confirming full system readiness.
